The main purpose of our service is to provide our customers with easy access to pictures from their construction sites. Our information security policies have been custom made for this purpose.
We only use trusted service providers to provide our service. We demand that all adhere to our security levels.
The Builder.Cam cloud service is running on top of the Timespace platform provided by our long-term partner Timespace Cloud Ltd. The platform provides the secure login and user management among other services.
User information is always transferred over an encrypted channel.
Builder.Cam pictures are stored only on servers located inside the EU. At this moment the cloud service providers we use for pictures storage and processing are Amazon AWS, Linode, UpCloud. Our servers are located in Frankfurt, London and Ireland. Pictures are removed from our service six months after the service subscription has ended. We backup our data daily and our backups are retained for three years after the subscription has ended.
Pictures are transferred and saved encrypted. Always.
Amazon AWS and UpCLoud are members of CISPE, and Linode is adhering to the Privacy Shield principles. Thus all three providers comply with the European standards on information security.
